I write about the courage it takes to be human.
Welcome to Warlife — a one-person journal where stories of valour meet reflections on meaning. I'm Aman Jaiman.
Some people are drawn to the spotlight; I have always been drawn to the people standing just outside it — the soldier who runs toward danger, the stranger who makes a quiet sacrifice, the friend who stays when leaving would be easier.
Why "Warlife"?
Life, in many ways, is a series of small wars: against fear, against doubt, against the temptation to look away. The stories I tell here — of valour on real battlefields and of the gentler heroism we rarely notice — are my attempt to honour those who fight them well.
What you'll find
Tales of military courage and sacrifice. Philosophy that asks more questions than it answers. Honest writing about relationships, solitude, and the strange business of being alive. Every piece is written to linger a little longer than the time it took to read.
Stories have the power to change perspectives.
Thank you for being here. Stay a while, read something that moves you, and — if you feel like it — write back.
Stories worth your inbox.
New essays on bravery, philosophy, and the human condition — delivered quietly, without noise.
